Sanctity of Life

All life is precious in the Lord's sight
From in the womb to before the grave
God loves all people with His might
And will continue til the end of all days.

Heaven’s Saving Grace

Hoping to go to heaven to see my Jesus.
Freeing and peaceful day that will be.
Amazing gift heaven is for me
Because no more pain or sadness will I have.

The Painted Butterfly

In the trap of a cocoon, a caterpillar is waiting.
All his energy is stored inside.
As he gives up his old life,
His new beginning is soon to arrive.

Instant change will open a new life;
Death of the old must happen first.
Popular caterpillar will go away
To be replaced by a creature so fine.

When the beautiful butterfly is ready,
He pushes his way outside his cocoon,
Gains his strength and flies away.
Painted butterfly has now joined the world.

Amazing Rain

Rain falling from the clouds helps me calm down;

The green grass has brightened me with its fresh smell.

Happiness washed over my soul as waters refill;

From seas to streams, rain give them saving drink.

Cases of vastness inside my soul are now refreshed.

Rain from heaven gives me sweet hope

Like new sprouts coming up after a storm.

Deer

Graceful deer amble through the trees
Lovely shades of brown with white tails.
They seem so calm and brave
But when man comes they turn and  flee.

Roaming through the woods they go
Stopping for a bite to eat
Free and safe they seem to be
Until a hunter makes his show.

Looking all around the deer pause
Keeping alert for noises unknown
When out comes a soul alone
Who seems amiable but has claws.

Man is not here but a lonely bear
Massive and mighty is he
Should the deer be aware
Or run through the trees?

Yes, they decide and turn around
Footloose and hasty they run
The bear tries to come,
But the deer can non longer be found.

SPACE TRAVEL

Out in space all my fears are erased;

Time glides by like a lonely song.

I float playing among the stars

Laughing at how light I feel.

Here in space life seems peaceful.

All is quiet and calm.

Coasting along, I look for tiny bits

Of stars to put in my pocket.

Floating in stillness I sift through my memories

Have I been here in my dreams or is this reality?

Am I truly floating in space,

Or am I counting sheep?

Soon the lonely moon hides behind the earth.

Rays of sunshine glow and I awaken.

Space travel has ended;

Morning has come.

                                   Birds

Birds are singing in the heavens

Songs of praise fill the sky.

Lovely anthems raising

To the King on high.

Hear the lilting sound in the morning

Sharing sweet songs of love.

See the wings aloft in the air

Feathers aimed toward God above.

Host

Beads of sweat on His brow
Give His face a look of care.
Nothing more than life itself now
But He gives it all to share.

Kindness is His only deed
Though men choose to hate.
Always He makes His plea
Father forgive them this day.

On the cross He holds
My sin and those of all.
He lacks strength and feels old,
Full of pain, but without gall.

Sorrow fills His mother’s heart,
Her face is lined with tears.
The disciples all but John depart
Because they are full of fear.

When He dies, His body is lain
In a fresh tomb given in love,

Guarded by soldiers of no name
And the Father above.

As God, He rose from the grave
Shaming death and sin.
With all the power He gave
Salvation was offered to men.

Whoever trust in Him, forgiveness finds;
Hope of heaven and strength on earth.
Peace in our hearts inside
We who believe experience new birth.

Golden Sunlight

Lovely sunlight shines through the trees
Causing shimmering hues of gold.
Leaves glisten and seem to flee
As they flutter when the wind blows.

Hosts of angels must be in the light
Bringing their near God-like beauty to earth
Making it seem like our Savior's birth
When they shone that special night.

Kneel at the Cross

Bow at the cross when anxious you feel,
Awesome peace will flood your soul.
Sweet Jesus will comfort your heart

When before Him you kneel.

Great is His love for you this day
He hears your cries each night
Give him your cares and fears
Always His power will come your way.

Seizure

Moaning in the night

Really frightening dreams

Feel angry inside

Loony noises in my head

Flashes of light

Awful pain in my brain

These are seizures.

Fight for Freedom

Trampling fear into the ground

Americans seize the moment

And fight for freedom.

In my own life

I must overcome my fears

And fight for my right to communicate.
