"Not being able to speak is not the same as having nothing to say" is a great quote by Rosemary Crossley and Doug Biklen. They understand how smart we nonverbal people can be. Most people look at us like we are retarded. They think we can't hear. This makes us sad and angry. How can they judge us? If people would believe in our abilities and not torture us with testing , maybe novel ideas would appear. Perhaps many more great things would be discovered about nonverbal people like me.
My name is Kimberly Dixon. I am a non-verbal young lady who happens to have autism. I loves to write poetry and make beautiful works of art.
